Purbeck Yurt
Our yurt is located in a secluded section of our smallholding in Dorset, close to Purbeck Adventure. It can be reached by a short walk from the car parking area. There is enough room should it be required to erect a large tent to the side to give more accommodation. We can, if requested in the special requests box, provide a tent for this.
Yurt camping is a special experience much like camping but with a splash of luxury, we have left our yurt pretty basic – there are four double futons which enable up to 8 people to sleep (N.B. you will need to supply bedding), there is a small kitchen area which is equipped with plates, bowls, cups, cutlery and pots and pans. We have a charcoal or pellet burning fire which has a hotplate to boil a kettle and provide warmth to the yurt. We have built the yurt off the ground on solid wood flooring which is insulated for extra warmth.

We provide a small stove to cook on and there is space for this on the kitchen unit; we also sell extra gas. Outside we have a BBQ and picnic benches, and there is also a gas powered hot shower directly next to the Yurt. We have a flushing toilet a short walk from the yurt to the side of our house.
Due to our location we must insist that the level of noise, especially evenings to be kept as low as possible.
We are in a great location for a round of Golf as we are on the doorstep of the Dorset Golf & Country Club.
